LIQUOR STORE SCENE

Year of production: 2007

Running Time: 3:19 min

Color / Sound / Subtitled

This wacky scene which is a little bit Spinal Tap-ish was directed, produced and edited by Peter Dzoghi. This scene was shot at Valley Beverage in Sherman Oaks and the nice folks there were very accomodating to our film shoot. So drop by and patronize them and see if you recognize the location. Anyway in this scene two rock and roller types stole a police car and arrive at this liquor store to hopefully get free stuff. Of course the clerk says yes, but is very surpised when they want two gallon jugs of liquor!  Next, before they can leave, trouble arrives. 2 real cops! Will they get arrested? Will they make a run for it? Will there be a shoot out? Watch and see.

Behind the scenes footage as a real UPS truck just happened to drive by while shooting a scene about a "UPX" worker strike. So why not protest the UPS truck arriving on the studio lot? It got quite a laugh on set. Not sure what the UPS guy thought of the mistaken identity.
